In Adidas land, a cyber attack did stray,
Stolen data, oh what a dreadful day.
Contact info, the thieves did obtain,
But passwords and credit cards remained in plain.
The sportswear giant said with a heavy heart,
"We're sorry for the inconvenience we've played a part."
Their help desk was the entry point, it's true,
But no financial info was taken, that's what they'd do.
Lisa Barber spoke up with a warning so fine,
"Keep an eye on your accounts, don't be slow in line."
Credit reports and bank statements, check them with care,
For hackers might strike, with a scam to share.
Unexpected calls, emails, or messages so bold,
Could be from scammers, trying to take control.
Adidas said they're sorry, and mean it too,
For the worry and stress, their customers go through.
A third-party provider, the culprit did find,
But Adidas acted fast, to contain the crime in mind.
Leading experts were called, to help with the quest,
To keep their customers safe, and pass the test.
UK police are investigating, with all their might,
A group called Scattered Spider, in the cyber attack's light.
M&S and Co-op were hit, with a similar fate,
But Adidas says they're safe, no financial weight.
In Turkey and South Korea, data breaches did occur,
But Adidas is working hard, to keep their customers secure.
No links to Scattered Spider, they claim with a grin,
But still, they're warning their customers, to be on the win.
