In West Sussex, a council did dwell,
With a new town hall, but not quite as swell,
The Create Building, a nine-storey sight,
More than half empty, a sorry plight.
The council had dreams of a fortune so bright,
£2,307,273 per year, a wondrous sight,
But only 35,000 sq ft was let with glee,
Leaving a gap of £1,046,361, oh dear me!
They opened the doors in March 2023 with flair,
But the tenants were slow to show they care,
The council's spokesperson said with a grin so wide,
"We're looking for the right ones, to stay and reside."
They explored and they searched, far and wide,
For the perfect tenants, to fill the space inside,
But time ticked on, and the money did too,
£1,046,361, a sum that's hard to do.
The council's spokesperson said with a sigh so deep,
"We'll find the right ones, and the income will creep,
Back to where it should be, a stable flow,
And The Create Building, will be a place to know."
