In Manhattan's SoHo, a wealthy place,
A tourist was kidnapped with a wicked face,
For his Bitcoin wallet, they wanted the key,
To steal his crypto, and set him free.
They hung him off a roof, with wires so bright,
Shocked him with electricity, a terrible sight,
A chainsaw attack, with a vicious cry,
Their victim was tortured, with a sad, sad sigh.
For nearly three weeks, he was bound and confined,
In a home rented for thirty grand, a crime so unkind,
John Woeltz and William Duplessie, the culprits so bold,
Kidnapped and tortured, with a story to be told.
Their victim escaped, with a story to share,
Bloodied and barefoot, with a tale to spare,
He told the police, of the horrors he faced,
And the two suspects, were quickly placed.
Duplessie turned himself in, with a lawyer by his side,
But the judge denied bail, and he's now to reside,
In a cell with a number, until his trial's done,
For kidnapping and torture, under the bright sun.
Woeltz has a private jet, and a helicopter too,
But the judge said no, to his bail request anew,
He's to stay in jail, until his trial's complete,
For kidnapping and ransom, a crime so unmeet.
In France, more arrests, in a similar case,
Kidnapping plots, with a crypto crime pace,
Easy money, they think, with a Bitcoin wallet key,
But the law is catching up, and they're being held to see.
