Trump Gives Putin Two Weeks to Shape Up Now.

Trump's warning to Putin's hand, A two-week deadline, or a different stand.

News illustration
In the Oval Office, a scene was set,
Donald Trump spoke, his words were met,
With questions about Putin's intent,
He said "two weeks" and that was bent.
A deadline was given, a test of will,
For Putin to end the war's bitter chill,
Trump's words were sharp, his tone was bold,
But would Putin listen, or grow cold?
The attacks in Ukraine, a deadly sight,
Children and civilians, lost in the night,
The bombardments, a heavy toll,
A war that's lasted, for four years to unfold.
Trump's frustration grew, as the days went by,
His words were laced, with a hint of a sigh,
He threatened a response, if Putin did stray,
But would it be enough, to end the war's gray?
The White House tried, to negotiate a deal,
A phone call was made, but no breakthrough did reveal,
Putin walked away, with a promise to share,
A memorandum of peace, but it's hard to declare.
The war rages on, with no end in sight,
Tens of thousands dead, and a country in flight,
Trump's threats have been made, but what's the plan,
To stop the violence, and bring peace to the land?
The Kremlin's response, was a gentle smile,
Trump's words were dismissed, without a worthwhile trial,
The war continues, with no end in view,
A tragedy that's unfolding, for me and for you.
