Head Teachers Know Best on Phone Bans

A phone ban in schools, a decision so fine, Should be left to head teachers, not imposed in line.

In schools, a ban on phones is a tricky test,
Head teachers should decide, not the government, we guess.
Dame Rachel said children rack up screen time at home,
While parents have the power, they should make it their own.
Nine in ten schools restrict phones, a survey did say,
But a blanket ban might not work, come what may.
The people with real power are the parents, you see,
So they should get behind their school, and set a good decree.

Parents must remember, they're not friends, but guides,
Protecting their children, and setting boundaries with pride.
Most primary schools hand in phones, or leave them behind,
While secondary schools keep them hidden, out of sight and unkind.
