In Boston town, a marathon's planned,
More than two thousand runners, all so grand.
Twenty-six miles to run, on a flattest track,
On Sunday morning, they'll all take a crack.
The route will wind through lanes so narrow and wide,
Through villages and villages, where spectators will reside.
At six points they'll gather, to cheer and to shout,
Their favourite runners, as they run about.
In Butterwick, Bennington, Leverton, and more,
Fishtoft and Wrangle, they'll all be in store.
Approach from roads branching off the A52 with care,
Park on the approach roads, before you get there.
The half marathon starts at 08:30, don't be late,
The 10K in Central Park, at 08:15, it's great.
The 5K follows at 08:45, a fun little dash,
To see the runners come through, with a smile and a splash.
Kay Bonnell's been planning, for nine months so bright,
Excited to see the runners, on this special night.
From overseas and across the UK, they'll all be there,
To set a time that's perfect, without a single care.
