In China's mountains, a paraglider did play,
Peng Yujiang, 55, with a skillful way.
He tested new gear, at 3,000m high,
Little did he know, his fate was nigh.
A rare updraft caught him, so strong and so grand,
5,000m higher, in a cloud formation to stand.
He clung to the controls, with a frightened face,
As ice crystals covered his body in a frozen place.
The camera filmed, as he spun in the air,
A viral sensation, beyond compare.
He told China Media Group, of his terrifying plight,
Everything white, no direction in sight.
Without a compass, he'd lost his way,
Spinning in circles, night and day.
Oxygen thin, temperatures dropped low,
-40C, a danger zone, don't you know.
He wanted to descend, but couldn't, it's true,
Lifted higher, until he was inside the cloud anew.
He might have lost consciousness, during his fall,
A frightening ordeal, that made him stand tall.
The authorities investigated, with a careful eye,
Peng Yujiang suspended, for six months to dry.
No intention to fly, just testing a parachute that day,
But strong winds lifted him, in a most unexpected way.
