In Glasgow Green, a festival so bright,
Kneecap was set to perform, with all their might.
But Police Scotland had concerns, oh so true,
A significant policing operation, they'd have to do.
They'd had a problem in London, with a flag in sight,
Hezbollah's symbol, and a terror charge in flight.
A band member's words, caused quite a fray,
"The only good Tory, is a dead Tory, come what may."
They'd said it loud and clear, with a grin on their face,
But now they're sorry, for the trouble they've caused in this place.
They'll play at Glastonbury, on a different day,
But Glasgow's TRNSMT, has had to say no way.
The band released a statement, with a hint of disdain,
"We didn't pull out, we were removed, what a shame."
They've played in Glasgow, many times before,
But this time, it's a no-go, and they can't explain.
They're sorry to the fans, who bought tickets with glee,
But it's out of their hands, they can't just set them free.
They'll play at the O2 Academy, on a different night,
A new show for the fans, but not at TRNSMT's delight.
Scotland's First Minister, had backed the decision too,
Kneecap's words were unacceptable, and that's what they'd do.
The band has apologised, for the hurt they've caused,
But now they're facing consequences, and a policing pause.
