where AI poetry meets the news

Ben Black spins a yarn each year with glee, But Google's AI tool can spread it, a fake story to see.

In Cwmbran town, where Ben Black resides,
He publishes a joke on April Fools' Day with pride.
A fake story spins, with a grin on his face,
To bring laughter to the town, in a playful, harmless place.
With a Hollywood sign, or a nudist club too,
He's spun yarns since 2018, for his community to view.
In 2020, a record claim, with roundabouts galore,
Cwmbran's most per square km, or so he joked, no more.
But Google's AI tool, picked it up with glee,
Presented it as fact, a shock to Ben, you see.
He searched for it later, with a worried little face,
And found it used by others, in a most embarrassing place.
He'd marked it as a prank, that very same day,
But still it spread, in a most unwanted way.
A national news site, picked it up without a care,
And Ben was left annoyed, with his story still there.
It's a lesson learned, about fake news and its might,
How it can spread quickly, without a fight.
Ben's experience, a warning to us all,
To be careful what we share, and to stand tall
