In Scotland's land, a warning's sound,
Extreme wildfire danger all around,
For one last day, the flames will play,
Then rain will come, and sunshine fade away.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service's call,
Is to be responsible, one and all,
Crews fight the fires, with skill and might,
While public's asked to stay out of sight.
On Arran's hills, a fire still burns bright,
Glen Rosa's pockets, a danger in sight,
Hillwalkers, beware, and turn away,
For Goatfell's walk, is closed today.
Acharacle's fire, two days old and strong,
Two crews fight it, all day long,
Police on Bute, ask people to stay,
Near Rhubodach Loop, the wildfire's at play.
The warm weather's gone, and rain's on the way,
Sunday will bring, a cooler day,
Met Office says, a change is near,
Clouds and rain, will banish all fear.
A helicopter's ready, to assess the scene,
Damage and danger, will soon be seen,
Public safety, the top priority high,
No access to Goatfell, until the fire dies.
