In England's land, a plan's in sight,
To help men's health, a long-overdue light.
Experts say it's time to take a stand,
To save men's lives, with a helping hand.

Andrew Harrison told a story so bold,
Of a young lad who climbed up a drainpipe cold.
He sought condoms, but didn't want to face,
The reception, with a nervous pace.

Risk-taking behaviour, a lack of skill,
A combination that makes men ill.
Smoking, drinking, drugs, and high cholesterol too,
Contribute to lower life expectancy, it's true.

Four years less than women, a sad, sad fate,
Nearly 60% more likely to die early, what a weight.
Heart disease, lung cancer, liver disease, and more,
Accidents claim men's lives, a tragic score.

Prof Alan White says, "We need to take a stand,
The pandemic showed us, 19,000 more men than women's hand.
Where was the outrage, where was the care?
It's time to take men's health seriously, we must show we care."
