In the land of rock and roll so free,
Kings of Leon were set to play with glee,
But disaster struck, oh what a sight,
Caleb Followill broke his heel in the night.
He was playing with kids, having a ball,
But a freak accident made him take a fall,
He shattered his heel, oh what a pain,
Now he's in plaster, with a bandaged strain.
The band regrets to report, with a heavy heart,
They must cancel their shows, and play a different part,
In June and July, no concerts will be seen,
Their fans will be sad, with a cancelled dream.
The Grammys winners, with hits so bright,
Will have to wait, for another night,
To play their music, with all their might,
But for now, it's a cancelled sight.
Caleb said with a grin, from his home so fair,
"I've broken my foot, but I'll be back there",
He showed his leg in plaster, with a laugh so free,
But for now, it's a bummer, for the band to see.
The fans will receive, a full refund with cheer,
For the Cardiff show, that was cancelled this year,
Blackweir concert organisers, will make it right,
And the band will play, on a different night.
