In Cornwall's land of beauty and sea,
A drama unfolds, for you and me,
Beyond Paradise, a show so fine,
With DI Goodman, and his detective mind.
Kris Marshall plays the lead with flair,
Zahra Ahmadi joins him, with Esther to share,
A DS with skills, and a heart so bright,
Together they solve crimes, day and night.
In Looe, a town, where the show is filmed with care,
The South West's charm, is shown to all who share,
The third series starts, with a bang and a crash,
A car in the river, with a grisly stash.
The subject matter's getting, slightly grittier too,
Zahra Ahmadi says, with a hint of "what to do",
The crimes are darker, the motives more bold,
A new edge to the show, for the audience to hold.
Esther's character, has a new story to tell,
Of her daughter Zoe, and the freedom to dwell,
A woman with a child, now grown and away,
Esther's journey, is one to explore each day.
